The Royal Cape Catamaran was first produced using the lines of the Van Der Stadt designed, RCOD, which for over 25 years has held the record for the fastest passage between Richards Bay and Durban on the east coast of South Africa. Adapted and enhanced as a catamaran with the aid Marine Architect and Engineer, Pieter Volschenk, she is a spacious, strong and very stable cruiser.

Your safety is of paramount importance and our QUEEN is built to undertake ocean crossings whilst it also allows you to enjoy island hopping and diving excursions.


The team is a blend of youthful enthusiasm and experience. The expression “JACK of all trades and master of none” does not apply to us. We carefully and selectively outsource some of the professional skills that we do not warrant employing full time such as design engineering and electrical engineering.
All manufacturing processes and materials are Lloyds approved and internationally recognized. In addition, all equipment is CE approved
where necessary and of well established origin.
