The Deck Layout
The SILHOUETTE 76 is one of the few sailing yachts equipped with a full sized fly bridge that provides quality entertaining space and panoramic views of the surroundings. Most sailing operations will be done from within the confines of the fly bridge.
The flat decks of the SILHOUETTE 76 allow safe unobstructed circulation around the yacht. Their flatness also provides the yacht with extensive sun bathing, entertainment and storage space for water toys, tenders etc. The dingy is able to be hoisted up clear of the water directly off the aft end of the cockpit roof, thereby eliminating the need for davits.
Careful attention has been paid to make the access onto the yacht easy. The two dingy docks form a welcome feature when boarding the yacht from the tender. They also serve as spacious platforms for the enjoyment of swimmers and SCUBA divers preparing their equipment. Swimmers approaching the front of the yacht will find the swim stairs in the trampoline very popular.

The Floor Layout
The SILHOUETTE 76 provides vast luxurious accommodation rather than maximizing cabin numbers. The magnificent master suite with its full bath room and panoramic outlook will commendably satisfy both private owners and host charterers.
The versatile crew quarters will be “the best in town” with the result that it will tend to make it easier for the yacht to attract top quality crew. The well equipped galley and ample storage space will also assist in that regard.
The fly bridge shades and protects the cockpit. Roll up screens will close off its sides in inclement weather. The large oval 12 seater folding table allows the party to enjoy al fresco dining.
Those with concerns about motion sickness will find comfort in the wide beam of the yacht as it greatly reduces the rolling motion of the vessel.

The Sail
For ease and safe sail handling a self tacking sail layout has been adopted. A screecher (or Code 0) is available for easy off wind sailing. A minimum number of crew will be needed to safely manage the yacht.
From the sail plan one can notice the high free board of the yacht. This feature will translate into the yacht being dry and effectively eliminate slamming of the bridge deck.
