HULL AND APPENDAGES
- The hull is of sandwich composite construction using 1200gm² quadriaxial - stitched fabrics and a balsacore composite material, but solid GRP below waterline.
- This gives a stiff laminate with excellent strength and fatigue properties.
- The engine beds are of GRP.
- Sea-cocks under water line are of a silicon bronze material and located in accessible locations.
- Hose connections to inboard side of sea-cocks have two hose clamps.
- Standard gelcoat colour is white.
- Bottom primed and 3 coats dark blue anti-fouling applied.
- Rudders are solid boasting a 45mm solid stainless steel shaft, complete Whitlock steering system with single steering wheel, operating an open wire sheave system.
- Structural bulkheads are of plywood laminated to hull and deck.
- Bulkhead thickness is 22mm.
- Side decals in 5-year UV resistant vinyl. Standard colour is dark blue.
